ok i got my new bulbs in but in prcoess of changing one of them on mk2 punto i lossend the head light and moved it. now my main beam ligh dont aim right and i want to know how to adhust. i have found the dial you turn that makes it go up and down but it makes full beam and dip beam move and not seperatly .also how do i adjust left to right. on my last car i just turned a screw.

the driver side is fine but on passenger side the full beam is aiming a lil to high and also is aiming to teh right and not straight can it be alterd?

the adjuster adjusts the entire inner part of the unit, and you can't adjust them seperately. you might be better off loosening the fixing lugs and return the headlight to its proper position before making adjustments (which is a 6mm allen bolt on the top of the unit)

no, i think there is, haven't had a mk2 for over 3 years, the point is, it was set right before you moved the unit, so the best way of getting it right again would be to put the unit back to its original position. make sure the bulb is installed correctly too

k will do that, i only moved the light as it was set back in the car and looked a lil naff. so i tried to move it forward so it fitted nicely like the drivers side, i think it must of been hit or something in the past[V]. but i will move it back. dam crappy design if you ask me all hail the mk2 cavalier head light lol fully adjustable in all directions.

maybe there's adjustment left/right, look on the top of the unit if there's two allen bolts you're in business!

What is wrong if the main beams are almost as low as the dipped ones then?

On the one I've just bought for my daughter the main beams are so low as to be useless

there is both left and right and up n down adjusters
