Advice please

Central locking packed up on MK1 75SX.

First buttons were shooting up and down.

Now system has packed up all together nothing works, could it be the relay or could it be because I squirted Wd40 down the door button a few hours before.

Fitted a relay from scappy but still no good.

Sounds like a faulty motor,can yougiove more details?

Central locking fuse is ok.

Have tried key in both doors and nothing happens - have diconnected loom to each door in turn and nothing happens.

Could it be that the connections to each motor are dirty and need cleaning.
