My dad owns a 1.9jtd and the bonnet release seems as if the cable has stretched or come loose how am i able to tighten it up as when u pull the leave it doesnt pop the bonnet you have to get someone else to lift the bonnet up aswell!!!

arite mate,
mine had the exact same prob, take it back to fiat and they'll do it in 2 mins. I think they took the bonnet catch off, dont quite know as i got it done on my service.

cheers mate will tell him to take it back in to get it sorted was going to just try and do it our self so didnt have to mess bout bookin time off work to take it in etc
