I just bought said car (at 164.000km), and I find the suspension relatively stiff, compared to my previous cars (Toyota Yaris, Citroen C3). By that I mean I can feel the irregularities in the road well in my seat.
If at all possible, my goal is to make it as soft and smooth as possible.
But for now I'm researching about it a little bit, so maybe any of you has an answer to one or more of the following questions:
1. Is the suspension in the Sporting model any stiffer or at all different then in other Punto Mk2 models?
2. Is the suspension in the Punto in general stiffer then in other brands/makes?
3. Might the coil spring or the shock absorber need replacement? Or both?
4. Can I test the above?
5. Can I tweak something about the coil spring and/or shock absorber?
6. Is there anything else I can do for more smoothness and comfort?
Thanks!
