Evening , ive still got this annoying shaking in the punto Mk2 petrol 2003 that ive had since purchase , its feels like someone is shaking the car ,
ive asked for advice here before and have always been grateful for the help ive been given however ive still got the problem , I have MOT on Monday and will get them to look at it , however not wanting to pay for something that I could possibly sort out myself. so far ive tried these solutions.

new leads
new plugs
new filter
new centre exhaust!
redex
cleaned carb with car cleaner

Im still looking for a air leak , which hoses should I be looking at?
the obvious one is the one that meets the air filter and joins to the carb which is fine , which other ones should I check?

coils seem to be firing ok , if I disconnect them one at a time there is an obvious difference to engine performance , are there any last minute obvious things I could check?

Does the engine sound rough as if it's misfiring ? or is it just shaking ?
If it's just shaking but firing ok then could be worth checking the engine & gearbox mounts , if it's misfiring then could well be worth plugging in MES to see if the coils are working as they should. Also with a misfire it's worth getting a compression test done.

You dont mean this odd pulsin idle speed issue thats yet to be cured?

Thought they all did this from time to time, generally cleared with a couple of blips of the throttle

beg borrow or steal a vacuum gauge and see what it shows
post up the results or video it

Ok so here it is , the engine vibrate isn't constant it isn't even at regular interval . I focused initially on the air filter because that gives you and idea how much it "stutters" and shakes. Thanks for looking
