Hi, I'm about to change my accessory belt and it involves that I remove Crank sensor. Knowing that, Fiat has poor quality with bolts, is the crank sensor bolt prone to break?

I never broke a bolt on any of my 2000's FIATs..

I always remove the pulley..as you can see/check the actual faces your new auxilliary belt will run on.

I had no problem with mine. I think it was covered with enough leaked oil and road debris to stop it rusting...

that size 10 crank sensor bolt never breaks

No issues with mine
I prefer to take sensor out vs taking pulleys off

Ensure to clean any gunk off the sensor and its hosuing before fitting new belt

I used an whole can of brake cleaner on pulleys and surrounding areas to help remove grime to give a long life
