Hello , I have lumpy idle on punto , codes coming back as p0351 and p0352 , coil related . Do these codes mean that both pairs are dead or do the 2 codes relate to 1 of the packs containing 2 coils ? Also using these codes can i tell which of the 2 packs are faulty if not both , thanks in advance

If it is on 1&2 I think (could be wrong here) its both coils. If you were stood looking under the bonnet they go 1&3 4&2. If im wrong someone please correct me and ill edit

Ive reset code and it keeps returning, i think i will buy one coil and see if it clears one code and then if id does ill buy a second , Thanks

I was wrong, im under the bonnet as we speak.

I got some instant gasket that im going to try around the coil pack, seems im leaking from there aswell

Thanks for photos., just plugged it in again and codes didnt come up !
ive also noticed thst the centre box seems to have something broken up inside
knocking about , could this be cause of idle shudder? will try replacing coils just in case anyway

Not sure about something inside the centre one :/ the cradle could have something rattling around

If you look on the coil pack bracket - standing battery but looking under the bolt hole for airbox
It has stamped 2314 or 2341 cant remember exactly

This is the correct order for the leads to be fitted

Also the position numbers start no1 timing belt end

Now ur images aint incorrect as such
The punto is a wasted spark system, so even tho no 1 is on power stroke (sparking) no4 will be on exhaust about to enter scavenging for induction it still gets a spark, but its wasted... hence the name wasted spark system

So if u swapped 1 and 4 leads over positon wise - no issues

Same for 2 and 3

U cant mix 2 and 1 or 3 and 4 as that would cause issues

Wasn't sure the proper numbers it just happened I was under the bonnet with my coil pack at the time and that how I labeled them so I'd know where they went, started on the furthest HT lead back on the coil pack and called it 1
