Hi There
Can anyone tell me please.
Is the rear door glass the same in the mk2 as the mk2 facelift Punto?
I have bought a piece. Its from a 188 chassis punto mk 2. Not sure if it's facelift mk 2 or not.

If I wrestle anymore with the one I am trying to fit I am going to snap it.
I have taken out all the trim.
There are no bolts/guides to remove in the door.

Can anyone shed light thanks.
:bang:

Check part numbers in eper , if they are the same numbers between the two models then it's same part.

5 door? Roll the window down, remove the rubber trim, and there's a small clip you need to remove in the bottom of the window, to unhinge it from the winder mechanism. The glass pane itself needs to be tilted slightly (forwards I think), and should be pulled through the outside of the opening, not the back. It's a snug fit, and I can understand why you're struggling - but it's doable :)

i cant remember if how you say it was how i did them but you are right they were a very tight fit in ,first one had me scratching my head for ages
so as said
remove the rubber trims from inner and outer frame
undo inner guide
and waddle the glass at an angle till it just goes in from the outside i seem to remember but i could be wrong
the glass fits from a late to early car so you have no worries there

Took mine out to put some tinting film on them, I can't remember the process exactly but I didn't have any problems or difficulties in doing it, came out and went back in very easily

I might have to file a slot in the frame to get it in. This is worse than a Rubiks Cube.
