Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone can help, I am having issues with Betsie. Recently shes been doing stuttering and juddering on cold engine. Just generally a not very smooth ride. When Idle the revs go to 1200 then suddenly dip to 800 as if its gonna stall. I can upload a video to youtube to show whats happening. But any help would be cool.

I did recently put some more coolant in but i wasnt sure if it was the right one I was sure it took the Red OAT stuff but Halfords said to buy the blue stuff so I got that. Help!!

The instability in idle speed is usually oil residue on the throttle body. There's a guide on how to remove and clean it on here

It could also be a cold start misfire due to dying leads or sparks
Once the leads warm up they suddenly start working better

It could also as said be a clogged throttle body and the idle control valve aint adjusting very well
