Servers been fixed
But yea
55 plate in my local with odd filler hole....
Otherwise it looks like a 8v...

Mind you though, the electrics on the right hand side of the engine look different to those on my 1.4 8v. Surely they'd be the same if it was a Grande Punto 1.2 8v engine in there?

Different car older canbus system so though they may fit the same engine and ancillaries the electronics are likely to differ

Ah yes, good old photobucket :( I'm in the process of moving my pictures to flickr as I have a pro account with them. I'll put up the right pics sometime today...

Edit...pictures of my '06 MK2b with the GP 1.2 8v engine.

Adding this from my other thread...

'One thing, item 4 on the picture on the left is an O-Ring, it shows as being separate but on the gasket I got from my local official Fiat dealers it is built into the gasket and not a separate part.
Also you'd like to think that a cam cover with 6 bolts holding it down would make a better seal than the earlier engines with only 4 bolts holding it down, doesn't seem to be the case though.
The gasket I removed was pretty hard, still flexible and not cracking but no give in it, the new gasket was spongier so should give a better seal.'
