Hi everyone

Latley, i have noticed the orange warning light on my dashboard telling me a light needs to be fixed, go on and off. I later found out it was only as I was using the brake pedal, so I thought it was just one of the brake-lights that were broken.

when I checked it, I found out that sometimes, the rear direction indicator on the right wold vaguely turn on together with the braking light (maybe 20% the normal illumination=, but most of the time this wasn't the case. On the other hand, I haven't noticed that the brake-lights turn on while blinking.

This is quite a puzzle for me, since I cannot get any idea of what might cause this issue - had it been two cables that were intertwined or connected, I would see the brake-lights go on as I was blinking, which isn't the case. Second, this is not very consistent.

Have you ever encountered anything similar? Could it be because of the EMU or anything else computer-controlled in the car?

Earthing fault
The voltage is going back via indicator bulb due to earth pin on light cluster probably going white withcorrosion

When he braked and indicated he got a disco going

Except instead of it been a repair - its technically preventative maintaince i think hahaha
