Please advice me to buy a meta remote locking system with or without alarm for my punto mk2 1.2 16v elx speedgear 2000. I can lock all doors using key in driver door lock. No remote locking. And please tell me what is this connector near the wiper linkage under scuttle. is it for factory fitted alarm? but I do not have interior sensor which should be near the map reading lights?. What is the best option? to buy factory alarm+sensor or meta?

ignore the plug you show its a false positive negative
with regards a central locking system if you can get a complete meta system for your car go for it
or
buy a remote locking system flom shina and fit that for $10

Dont bother with alarm... sooo many dont come with them... more likely to cause issues vs actual use

As for meta kit was an after production upgrade kit
Expensive! But totally worth it
Much better working than when i retro fitted a afternarket one

I didnt fit my meta kit as it camewith the car
It does sometimes do auto door locking ince uve been driving (2nd brake pedal press)

Thanks Ziggy, But the problem is there are lot of part numbers for same meta model. I found 46001872 etc will this M872 AN-/M15 fit for my car or what part number to select?. Car is 2000 made punto mk2 1.2 16v elx speedgear cvt auto
