I have this car and a few questions:
Punto MK2 44kW
y.2000 1.9D engine 188A3000
I did not pass MOT due to high emissions (opacity: 4), during acceleration sometimes appear black smoke, then again normal. (Car goes normal, about normal consumption, no oil leakage)
Does anyone know what would look?
(We looked at the air-filter its quite clean, there is a plastic tube leading from the air filter to the engine, it was a bit of oil on this tube).
2. Someone have a service manual for the motor / car? (on the internet I found only petrol engines)
3.does anyone figured out some inexpensive diagnostic cable to this car?
On the net I found that it should be EOBD cable, but then it's a huge hassle of device compatibility. Experiences?
