Hi,

Last night I moved my gearbox from reverse to 1st. And then the gear selector went really loose and weak. Need to replace the selector housing. But can't remove the cables from the gearbox. How do you remove these?



My car is a grande punto but I've owned a MK2 punto and they look very similar.

they just pop off, get a big flat screwdriver and pry them off
