I presume the problem is burnt out resistors ?

Does anyone know where they are under the dash ?

Hi there. The wife needs a new switch in her Punto. The control knob shaft sheared. How do you get the switch out? I've removed the centre console facia and can see that the switch is held in position by a small screw either side of it. Do I just pull on it (once the screws are removed) and it will come out? How do I get the new one back in? Cheers

you just need to unplug it at the back, look pic below
