My sister's Punto 1.3 multijet 75 good car very reliable 77,000 miles on the clock, no problem over 7 years. I have been change her oil, oil filter and top up with new oil in right level, warm up and leaving it cool down and check the level again perfect level.
Now the light come on low oil pressure or level too low but no oil leaking under sump bolt and no leak out plastic cap of oil filter. But when you rev above 2,300 rpm light go off.
It has to be electric glitch? :bang:

Doesn't sound like a glitch, what oil did you put in? The multijet likes its oil thin. The pressure light on mine can take a few extra seconds to go off went the weather is really cold and the oil thick.

Also the oil pump is an unusual design on these it forms part of the timing chain cover.
I'd be inclined to get it properly investigated, running it with the light on could result in significant damage.

My sister bought oil 10w40
Full Synthetic Triple QX from Eurocarparts for turbo petrol and diesel.
I think the last time I was pour in 5w40?
But the manual book said accept 5w40 or 10w40 :slayer:

The fact that the light goes off when you Rev and was working fine before the change suggest their is a problem with either the oil it's self or the pump.

It could be a problem with the pick up pipe but given the oil change that's where I'd start.

I'd put 5w 40 in first and if that doesn't help then I'd be taking the sump off to see what's going on

The longer you leave it to drain the better too

Since the oil pressure lights on - you cant let it get warm to become less viscous to help :(

So dont rush the change, you'd be surprised what will keep dribbling out of there

Tbh as well - i'd honestly change the filter again too, there cheap as chips really

I have been replace other new oil filter and engine oil flush tin it clean all nasty black bits, left overnight.
Add 5w40 oil this morning, I was very nervous to start the engine pray there will be no light come on and no light on.
Now since the light never come on great!
Happy now! (y)
