Hello! I installed a new stereo from China, and I started experiencing noise from the stereo while the car is on. It gets louder as I accelerate, too.
Is there anyone that has a similar problem that could help me?

I am aware that there are similar threads but since I am not very experienced with cars, I'd love if someone could explain exactly what I should attempt to do, which cables to re-wire etc. Maybe someone has a simpler solution even.

This sort of thing used to happen a lot on old cars. Cars before electronic ignition systems became the norm.

There were things sold suppression capacitors that you fitted in-line with the ignition/alternator & that stopped the whine. I don't know if theses are still available but the most likely reason is a cheap stereo rather than a fault with the car.

Hi!

You should try grounding alternator frame directly to car body. If that won't help, head unit is faulty.

The stereo us probably pivking up electrical interference

Did the old unit pick it?
When people say a Chinese unit it does sometimes leave a questionable quality/reliability questions

Sorry about the super-late reply. I know this did not happen with the old stereo. I had to convert the old cable from the car to a new one with clips. Any more information you can give me? I am not very good with this so I am not entirely sure what to do.
