Well after three years its gone to a new owner- I have enjoyed every minute driving it and this forum has been a mine of information- I have had (and rectified) all the usual Mk2b faults so nothing left for the new owner to do:
New elec. steering column.
Oil leaks from every orifice (rear main, camcover, coil pack) + new sump & gasket.
New door check straps.
Front wheel bearings
Water pump feed pipe
etc etc

T- Jet is a different animal- much as I loved the 2b, technology and build quality has moved on and it does show in the new car....
