Hey guys an gals, i tried reading through some threads but couldnt find much...
Does any of you know what bumpes will fit my mk2b 5 door, i dont like the standard one? Any help is appreciated

Right mk2b 5dr's

The Rear bumpers you can have any of the 5dr mk2 or mk2b bumpers as they are pretty much a easy swap and fit
But it has to be a 5dr to 5dr, not a 3dr to a 5dr
So mk2 5dr = Yes
Mk2b 5dr = Yes
Mk2 3dr = No
mk2b 3dr = No since your a 5dr

The Front bumpers are all the same for the mk2's
Mk2's fronts WONT fit a mk2b
Mk2b fronts WONT fit a mk2

Mk2 5dr = no
Mk2 3dr = no
Mk2b 3dr = Yes
Mk2b 5dr = Yes

Front bumpers are the same weather it's 3 or 5 doors.

Mk2 and mk2b front bumpers are not interchangeable

Rear bumpers are different from 3 or 5 door cars so you can't swap them, however

Mk2 and mk2b rear bumpers can be swapped.

So you can fit a sporting mk2b front bumper, you can also fit a mk2 Abarth rear bumper (although these are very very rare)

Mk2 Abarth Rear and a Mk2b Sporting sounds a very good combination

All i'll say is make sure with the mk2b sporting bumpers that you get the 3 pieces of trim in it
The 2 fog lights and center pieces aint cheap for what they are

Thanks guys you have helped alot, bit confusing with all the mk2s.... Haha but i think ive gathered that an active sport front bumper will fit my active and for the rear im still unsure, sorry

mk2's is the 1999 - 2003 era
mk2b is the 2003 - 2006

If you were looking at 2 mk2b 5drs, it doesn't matter if it was a sporting,HGT,abarth, Active, active sport

They'd all fit

Its the door count and version that makes the difference mostly

Ok cheers so i want the active sport front bumper and that will fit from the 3dr? And the rear one, will that as well or not

The rear bumper from an active sport will not fit a 5 door car.

You would either need to pay a lot of money for a bodyshop to modify the rear bumper to fit or look for a Mk2 5 door abarth rear bumper, which looks cool and is rare so would stand out.

Another option would be to trawl European websites to look for a fibreglass rear bumper that's cool and designed for a 5 door car

Front bumper will fit from 3dr yes, as long as it's a mk2b, as your own.
The rear bumper will NOT fit. You need a 5dr rear bumper - however you can choose these regardless of it being a mk2 or a mk2b.

Would this fit my punto, all it says about it is punto 188 and it came off an 03 plate, it looks similar to the active sport but its abarth, its cheapest one ive found and close to me

No because it's for a mk2 not a mk2b your car has different headlights and wings which means it won't fit

Is that how much you would expect to pay? I dont know if its too much as ive never brought body panels before?

Seeing as it is brand new, yes. That's a decent price. But then you'll need to buy trims on the side as well.. No luck finding anything used?

Well there is one of these on eBay at the moment and they are like hens teeth so worth snapping up

No i cant seem to find any used near me so i would have to travel to get one and i know i can buy the trims on ebay
