So im looking to buy some of it but cant find any as i dont know the proper name for it.

Im after some of the adhesive thick rubber. Its in the boot under the carpet. Its single sided and about 1mm - 2mm thick.

Does anyone know what its called?

Its like a flexible plastic and normally covers the little holes like where the subwoofer bracket goes or where the cd changer goes

Thanks i think that is it. The reason why i need it is that today i fitted the subwoofer but a couple of months ago when i test fitted it i removed the little square on the boot floor thinking i couldnt attach it through that. But i noticed the cd changer is screwed into one of the pads and holds strong enough.

Can you recommend anything a little cheaper i could use to screw into or to put into/over the hole to screw into so it sits secure

do you mean..you need some sort of plastic fixing?

if so. nosey round ebay..for trim fastners/gromits trim clips etc

The link old hammer has provided are the same things ive used on my punto to allow me to fix my subwoofer in
I had tk trim the spreading parts edges to make it more hexagonal to fit in
The one on the floor I got out when I brough the subwoofers
