Hi guys just brought some fiat punto mk1 sporting alloys just wondering what size alloy bolts I need 16mm or 17mm or tapered?

I'll add in a picture they'll be going on my mk2 and will be resprayed

is this spec the right one?

IIRC they are 17mm hex's

There is a taper on the bolts - but i dont know what mk1's use vs mk2/2b's

Oooo i just thought they'd fit may have to ask my scrappy and measure a couple up and see what I find I imagine their 60 degree taper just unsure about other measurements

the bolt circle and central hubs will fit fine no problem

I'd ask for the bolts from the scrap yard - as im sure they are same threads as the mk2
it'll go in easy if so - if not and it stops quick - its not right....

M12x1.25 is correct, from what I recall taking the wheels off the GT 60 degree taper sounds right. The only other thing you'll need to know is the bolt length.

Ive seen a couple saying 53mm but completely unsure on that part ?

That sounds far too long to me, I'd think more like around 32mm. I was going to fit some aftermarket wheel to my Seicento and with 10mm spacers I need 40mm bolts, so I doubt 53mm unless you're fitting massive spacers too
