I am looking for a good quality car cover for my brother. He's got a Mk1 Punto. He doesn't get to drive that much any more and want to look after his pride and joy as the weather is getting worse.
I've had a look on Ebay but found nothing decent. Does anyone know where you can get one?

use wax, covers just keep in the damp

Not that carplane 'easy' stuff either, you want a modern equivlent of Turtle Hard shell (we bought 6 tins before they finished production years ago), which is 90% parrafin wax 10% other nasty petrochemicals and preservatives (??), which is probably why they stopped making it.

Anyway, its a gitt to get on and polish off to a smearfree finish (see my pic, all smudgy and oriible) but it does provide a lot of protection against weather and UV, and you only have to do it 2-3 times a year
