I bought the mk2b punto manual (which is just a recovered version of the mk2) and the fiat 500/panda manual which covers pretty much every engine configuration of mk2 and some grande stuff too.
If you don't buy them they don't make them. Plus it's very hard to thumb through your laptop when your hands are covered in grease oil and dirt haynes manuals are improved with oil and the odd coffee ring stain
Imho..haynes isnt very good but there handy to have.
iwouidnt be running into halfords buying a brandnew copy tho.
ive just bought one for my new pug.. 4 quid off the bay,, the last reader only bought it to look up how to change the pollen filter..he left the receipt as a bookmark,
as for common cars ..like the punto(haynes)ibet theres some going on the car boot sales for a quid or two.
