If your weighing the shell in,

theres not much coin in them,
main weight of a punto is in the engine/box..and the doors+rear beam..

if your cutting it into 4.
hardest bit is at the bulkhead..the rest is just like cutting open a tin can :D

guy came today and started choping it with 2000w angle grinder, after few mins smoke came out of his machine and we called it a day

You need a Sthil saw,. ;)

you wouid use about..14 + blades using an angle grinder,
some grinder blades can disintergrate and send splinter's at you,.
its not wise..

there is an easier way to flat pack these ..but iwont post it up here.. ;)

Your mate must have a duff angle grinder. My mates took 15 min and about 9 disks to sort out a mk3 Panda when we chopped it up back in July this year. The shell from the bulkhead back, 2 classic Panda doors, a corsa bonnet and door, Punto tailgate and door and a few other odds and soda came to 680kg on the weigh bridge. Might have toppled 700kg if I'd included the Panda front end also.
