Hi all,
having spent too long messing about with shoes+ hubs today,
I've now realised it's poor cable tension that's stopping the handbrake working in less than 10 clicks :bang:

I was all set to remove the underbody heat shield when I wondered if the cable is accessed from the cabin,

did a search but no great tech info - just lots of people mentioning handbrake in members motors, etc,

Under the ashtray at the back of the handbrake lever. Lift out the ashtray, undo the screw and there it is.

thanks,
lift-up the back of the "centre console"?

older FIAT's had a nut under the handbrake lever,

is this a nut + splitter on the cable mount ??,

I'll try and do a quick guide when the job's done,

cheers,

charlie

its under the center console not 100% accessable from under the rear ash tray but you can gain some access without having to remove the whole centre console

here's a screen shot from a recent video i shot which shows the 2 cables under the rear of the centre console/ash tray
