Just thought 'I'd mention this ..for those that are 'buying part's..
Something is going on with 'euro-carparts'.

I recently bought a lot of parts from there 'parts seem reasonable 'online.
Go in store and its a whole different 'ball game..

Theres no till work going on and 'money is just going into a drawer..
I've also had to 'demand a 'receipt'.

Prices on line soon get brushed under the carpet..
Discount codes are gone..
All the old faces are gone... perhaps they've been sacked..

I was handed a part that I paid good money for .. namely a gates kit..
On inspection it was made in 'turkey' so I rejected it...

So all 'those looking for 'parts all I can say is 'avoid..this out fit..

Donate a quid or so to the 'forum and then take up the offers from genuine suppliers in the members offers...
My favourite was shop for parts.. quality items at cheap prices and fast shipping.. (y)

I've always had good service from Euro in Swindon and Abingdon, although the price in store may be different than the online price. Choose your stuff on line, pay and collect in store. You can still reject it if it is not as expected. Is your store actually a Euro, or a franchise/affiliation?

Not sure why "made in Turkey" should be unacceptable. Just about everywhere is capable of making good or bad stuff. If it was genuine Gates, it will be ok.

Shop4parts is usually very good, although prices need comparing. For me, it is often worth paying a bit more for Shop4parts, and OE stuff, but Euro is local, convenient, and available immediately. Choices.

'Euro's was pretty good 'afew.. months back..
But. There's deffo something going on with it..

The 'old manager and some of the old 'faces are gone..

Another eg here.. I picked up a megs quick clay kit in store..priced at 13.98
I was then told ..I couidnt have it at the 'lab led price..that is the old shop price..

There 'prices are all over the 'place.. internet/in store..

Never had any problems with Europarts, their staff are a bit uninterested but who isn't these days... they seem to be pushing the 'Carparts4less' arm of the business a bit more so maybe its company politics.
Also worth noting that both Unipart and ALS parts have been swallowed up recently.

I gave up on euro a while a go, I would occasionally give them a chance but the last time I went and they didn't have suspension springs
Or wish bones, pretty standard items.

I went to my usual haunt of GSF who had all the bits I wanted except a clutch kit but ordered and delivered for me the next day, and now I get a trade discount from GSF through my brothers business (the only vw camper specialist that buys a lot of punto parts) I see no need to try anywhere else, euro had it's chance

Re. the made in Turkey bit, I did a 1st oil & filter on a Doblo at work the other day. The old filter was made in China. Most firms do their R & D in Europe then manufacture them where it's cheapest. I deal with Euro daily at work, also CES and GSF and Andrew Page and you can pick fault with all of them. I needed some valves and gaskets for an Astra I'm fixing up to sell. The cheapest place I found them? E.bay, even with trade discount.
