Cheers guys, I was thinking surely that was fiat prices. I'm getting it checked out by somebody my dad trusts soon so I'll see what he says and get a decent second hand one if need be.

So because the flywheel is apparently slightly warn will it affect anything in a major way?

If the teeth on the old starter have broken then it may have scored or chipped teeth on the flywheel, which in turn could now transfer that back to the teeth on the new starter motor

That said its not going to do a huge amount of damage but it means it could wear a bit quicker than if it were in perfect condition
