I have a few scratches on the paint work want to removed them my self by hand any suggestions........

First of all, the bodies of the mk2 were pretty well galvanised, so I wouldn't worry too much. If it bothers you cosmetically, try a little polish with T-Cut. If the scratches go deeper than that, consider a touch-up pen if you have a solid colour, but metallics, I'd just leave it. Too difficult to blend metallics in my experience.

Depend's how deep the scratch is,
if you can feel it with a finger nail its to deep...only thing you can do is mask them with stuff like turtle wax colour magic etc,

if its not that deep, id recomend the G3 products,
there is other way's but im not going to mention them as you couid be down to metal in no time at all,

As the guys above mentioned depends how bad it is. Try the polish and tcut if its not too bad.
