General scrap price of punto

ive broke up puntos before..

Ah, didn't know that, in that case, the experience is of no value. I intend to break my HGT when it does give up the ghost since it'll be good experience for when I have to break an MX-5 to build the Roadrunner SR2 in a few years. It's a shame there's no longitudinal gearboxes suitable for the Fiat Twin-cam 1.8 16v because it's a lovely engine to drive and to listen to.

We'll I would love to have them wheels but simply can't travel that far mate if you can find out what postage is I am still interested would go perfect on my black punto.

Just waiting for some steel wheels to arrive & then theyre coming off.

as for courier prices' ive no idea its not something inormaly post out,

iwill put an add up in classifieds once there off. carnt sell things here see
as admin have there job to do and rules is rules.

Going OT, but breaking cars is a royal PITA.

I'm still falling over MX-5 bits from one I broke in 2011 for my kit car. Also, I honestly don't see what specific experience breaking a HGT beforehand will give you. Most of the difficult bits of MX5s are around the rear end (quiet at the back, stop sniggering :D). The driveshafts can be quite comfortable staying in the uprights, and 30 tons of persuasion can still be inadequate to persuade them otherwise. The rear lower wishbone/upright bolt can rust itself solid to the point where a windy gun won't touch it. A fairly heavy weight at the end of a 5 foot scoffolding pole won't touch it. A hacksaw will though :D

At least when I did it, prices for most MX5 bits were strong. The second hand parts market is rammed full of MX5 bits today, and very few bits command the same sorts of prices as they once did. The only exceptions seem to be Torsen LSDs, decent condition hard tops, decent condition front wings, JDM aftermarket parts and some limited edition stuff (e.g. RS-Ltd kevlar seats, S-Ltd interiors).

In short, if I was building another MX5 based car, I would be buying the bits separately. Sure, it'd end up on a Q plate, but in kit cars that doesn't really matter. Emissions are done on engine age at the IVA.

You should try it with bikes :(

I've got a CB250N, Virago 750 and lots of bits and bobs from unpopular 70's Kwakas all gathering dust in my garage, on the other hand I also have 2 complete (door cards as well) leather and tweed interiors for Mini British Open Classics, getting rarer than a very rare thing these days.
