Hi everyone,
I'm pretty sure the exhaust on my Punto is toast.. It sounds raspy and like it's blowing. I took it back to the garage where I had a 3 months warranty, but of course they're never going to replace an exhaust on a warranty.. So they just resealed the back box instead... This helps every now and then but most of the time it still sounds like it's blowing.. Does anyone know how much the whole exhaust would cost and also just the back box?
Any help would be appreciated greatly

Make sure you get a decent exhaust like Bosal. They cost about £25 more than the cheapest but are much better. I had a cheap exhaust on recently and they had a job fitting it. There's also a very slight vibration from it.

Are you talking from your cat to back box? Or including cat and exhaust manifold? Do you drive an 8v or a 16v?

8v is aboit 25-30 ea for middle pipe and back box

It's an 8v Active Sport... I think the back box is gone but I would prefer to replace the whole exhaust... Do you guys know the price of the full exhaust?

I just replaced the middle piece today. Be aware its an absolute ball ache to do. All the nuts/bolts corroded on, had to grind them off, then weld as section of cat flange came away.
