Okay thanks is it safe to drive then? It only looses a small amount size of 1p coin on the floor when parked up.

It's safe to drive yes, but your actually getting oil on the floor.... which isn't a good sign. Personally i would get it done soon as possible, doesn't have to be straight away aslong as you look after the oil level. Rocker cover wouldn't take very long at all to do

Really it's a 8v it comes up as a 16v elx

Where is coming up as a 16v may i ask?
It could the 16v popped they stuck an 8v in there....

Also how will I stop the oil leak then by changing the rocker cover gasket?
The rocker cover gaskets are a design floor by fiat
Cheap to replace like. Some people like to gasket the hell out of them (putty stuff)

Some let it leak, the seal is only £6, but you spend more time cleaning surfaces and that then anything else

Safe yes, mines leaking as well as the coil pack seal
Only thing i get is an odd smell as the oil is been baked on everywhere

Agree'd but the amount she's loosing is small, i've had worse leaks
Like 1 litre is gone in 4mins

Yeah is that bad then? :/ will clean it up and get a second opinion thanks guys :)

Clean it up as best as you can
Then on a daily basis take photo's
You'd be surprised its probably quiet slow....

Btw - 2nd opinion is NOT that mechanic you went to
£300 was a JOKE
£6 for the seal
£3 for the coil pack seal to play it safe
£5 tube of sealant
30mins of time - say £20

Thats £35 at very very MAX

If you were near me, i would happily charge you little to change it

But as i said above, they are prone to weaping

It always comes up when doing insurance and my dad said it was a 16v. Don't understand that anyway. But I no that's what comes up. Fiat punto 1.2 elx 16v. That 300quote was for the head gasket but if it is not that then i don't want to get it fixed an it still leak oil :/. It drives fine doesn't overheat there's no sign of the "mayo" in the oil etc doesn't leak water and doesn't loose coolant which I've read up on are signs of the head gasket going so I'm confused.

In basic terms
You've got the engine block - this is where the Pistons move up and down
Then you've got the Head gasket - which seals the engine block to the Cylinder head

Then the rocker cover is sealed ontop of the cylinder head
