Please help me identify

What is this on the right side of the footwell on the floor?
Rectangle box...

It's the vin/chassis number,lift it up & stamped into the metal is a series of letters & numbers,these should match the numbers on your logbook.

A plastic flap that covers the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) stamped into the floor.

I think some slide (towards the chair) rather than lift

I always wondered what that was too now I know

I always thought it was some flap open up and there'd be a secret button for an ejector seat....maybe I've been watching too many James Bond films! :devil:

The active sport versions do come with an ejector seat Benny! Thats why theres a plastic cover over it, to stop you accidentally pressing it with your foot

I had to deactivate mine when I fitted the Alfa seats

I so wanna do alfa seats but dont fancy the ballache of a job with the rear seats, fronts its as easy as abc, so im thinking of looking for a hgt thats breaking for parts and nab the seats straight swap

Depends if you've got the skills for the back ones really, or willing to pay someone to do it. & Yeah that'll be a simple improvement :thumbup:

My carpet was so worn + slack that the cover was open ..BUT not in the correct place,
I didn't figure it out for a while either,
