Looking for some help.

I have a punto 05 1.2.

The car has started to make a ticking noise. There is no ticking when you start the car only when you start to drive. If you put the clutch in it goes away. Sounds like a relay tick...

Any idea

Forgot to say.

The ticking noise stays the same, does not get faster with engine speed.

So the noise is present at all times
All engine revs
All road speeds

But goes when clutch is disengaged?

Yep, if I'm light on the throttle when I get in to 4th or 5th then You can't hear it as much.

Sounds to me like then input bearing is possibly to blame here then

But only way to tell is to have the box off and check, so wait for other members to confirm here
