Right i've finally managed to catch it on video of a somewhat bizzare idle problem when its cold

Youtube here

You start the engine no problem, and the cars seems to vibrate like its been bogged down by something, it recovers and falls back down yet again!

Now its not misfiring, the car drives 100% fine
When you rev it up it perfectly fine and maintains a steady idle

Now there is a worn alternator belt that made a slight change in engine tone, but its never done it this bad

Advices pleases

too much petrol in the tank:mad:
:D
i had one do this 2 weeks ago tried a complete s/h throttle body didnt cure it
you know what did?
i disconnected battery for 3 hours gave it a damm good charging and it hasnt done it since
not saying it was anything to do with what i did but its the first punto to have ever done it on me
it had been snowing and i did smash the wipers the same morning too

might be worth a try

Well okay, i must admit i've done very little to this situation

I'd just done a nice long stint down a dual carriageway to go rollerskating
Park up after not a single hitch!

Come back to the car, stick the engine on, let it idle while i just put sat nag on,
fit dash camera, have a drink and belt up

Yup
Its really really bogging again
So the battery is well charged after a good run
The Tank is Yes full :(

I have check the butterfly valve, its free, i had to adjust the cable, as it was too slack, only moved it up 1 adjustment, as 2 was just starting to pull the cable a fraction

It hasn't done it untill today again
I dont wanna blame the alternator belt, but this did happen before and replacement cured it....
