Hi guys need some help...ive got a punto 1.2 16v sporting 51 plate and its running rough . It started about 2 weeks ago but nothing too serious and then all of a sudden just went . Symptoms are very juddery engine,strong smell of petrol and heavy petrol consumpion . Ive had the car plugged and and it came up with a lambda sensor fault...so changed it for a new one cleared the code and hey presto nothing. Had the codes read 4 days later and i got theses...p0130 , p0135 , p0141 , p0105 and p0110 . Any help on this would be great as im new to puntos....ive also cleaned the throttle body and replaced the plugs ?????

p0130 - O2 circuit
p0135 - 02 lamba heater circuit
p0141 - o2 lamba heater circuit
p0105 - Map Sensor
p0110 - intake air temperature sensor bank 1

So basically its saying the lamba sensor is at fault? based on engine temperature

Why does my little toe say it could be a coolant sensor issue?

Clear codes - i'd disconnect the battery leave it overnight - reconnect in morning go for a drive so that it warms up to operating temperature and then cools down again
Then Re-read the codes again
Something is spooking the car i think

yeah i was thinking cts....I've had the codes cleared a couple of times now and they keep coming back

Those same codes?

You could be cheaky - unplug the coolant sensor - got for a couple of runs and see if the same codes appear?
You'll have a coolant sensor code - but thats expected

Yeah it's complaining about both lambda sensors , map and inlet temp at the same time. Time to have a look at where all those wires go and if they have a plug in common. I have seen vauxhalls with that collection of dtcs have parts of the wiring harness replaced.

just a bit of an update....when the car first started running rough it was no more than 20mpg but its slowly creeping up and is now at 33 mpg ??? Also what rpm should it idle at cause mines at 1100??? And the revs don't bounce

1100 is too high -- 850 is more like. Overtight throttle cable?

MAP and IAT are in the same body, share connector.
