FIX YOUR AIRBAGS
I dont know if this has been mentioned before but, as most of you seem to do your own work on your cars, this might be helpful. The number of cars we are starting to see with intermittent faults occurring, such as stalling or cutting out and not restarting, is increasing. The most common cause is the incorrect plugs are fitted. The type of spark plugs fitted as standard are resistor type, they have a R in the identification code, without this resistor, the ignition system can have voltage spikes go back into the ecu's and transmitted through the can lines to other ecu's. If you have your car serviced by a dealer or you buy your parts from a dealer you will not have a problem. If you buy from a motor factors or have a local garage service your car then check they are resistor plugs being fitted.
