Does anyone know if theres a return spring on the accelerator pedal ??

as the pedal is low and have to have foot to the floor just to get anywhere its ok 1st 2nd but them on its like 3rd gear foot to floor
slowly picks up speed n mean slowly any ideas please .

if its an 8 valve check the locating tab on the throttle cable under the airbox see if its gone walks

would that be the llittle rubber gromet ? yeah 1.2 8 v active sport

The 8v is 50/50 to be either cable
or Flyby wire

If its the cable - pop the airbox off and check its sat happy as it should

if its flyby wire - there is a spring assumably underneath the column somewhere

looks like im missing a clip that holds the cable as it goes though the holder . Anyone know if they can be purchased ? Thanku

scrapyard, you'll probably have to buy a whole new cable assembly otherwise

As a stopgap, use a cable tie to lock it in place
