Has anyone near basildon, essex got a code reader i could use for 5 minutes. Got the airbag light and it needs resetting for it to go out. Ive got fix from fiat with the grounding, and just needs resetting.

Would appreciate it if anyone can help!

Surely the garage should have reset the ECU after they fixed the problem? Look in the tutorials, there is one on there that tells you how to do it for a tenner.

No i did it myself tonight. I don't use garages after bad experiences lol.

And do what for a tenner? Reset the light?

Yeah, you should be able to import a VAG COM KKL cable from hong kong for a fiver through e-bay and buy the fiat 16-pin extensions for the same sort of price... Thats how I did mine, use FiatECUScan - free software.

This also uses a VAG COM KKL, however rather than buying the extention cables they take the VAG COM apart to pick the right pins to use.

i'm in enfield, not that close but not terribly far and i've got a cable for 1.2 8v punto active if you wanna use it?
