Had a bit of a strange idle on my way home from work, when I put my clutch down the revs would drop to under 1000 then go to 1500, and then after a few moments it would drop to around 6000, any one no if this is normal, im presuming it's not as it's never happened to me before :S

Alternator charging okay?

But depressing clutch is pressed is odd, Clutch doesn't have anything todo with the engine so to speak

Reason why i say alternator charging okay is that sometime the car picks up low charging or no battery - and will rev the engine up naturally to boost power

Nope, had no lights come up, just have to keep an eye out for the alternator
