Imo, for the power/torque, build quality, reliabilty (according to surveys) and equipment you get its the best option for the price.......Ok it may not have the Italian style but still looks smart Still dont know when mine's coming
there is no doubt this is a very cheap car to run, - 60mpg on the Motorways!!! and 60mph in under 10s for a deisel, nice
Negatives;
Noise is a bit ...'black cabby'
Looks, they are a problem, perhaps there are some descent body kits out there that can rescue it The wrc didn't look too shabby
Hmmmm Wonder who that was...........(the *** weren't in my original post )
I think S***a got the looks right, not too OTT but enough to make it stand out from the rest of the range. Its a sleeper; not many people expect to be beaten from the lights by a Fabia!
Other rivals are S**t Ibiza Cupra/FR, F*** Fiasco ST/Zetec S etc.......
The Fabia VRS is indeed supposed to be very good, but they're holding their values very well as a result, so if you're thinking of buying second hand you'll need deep pockets.
Another option might be the Seat Ibiza PD. Not sure how they're doing price-wise. Or how about the Ford Fiesta ST? Or Clio 182 (Cup).
Not too keen on the fabia but I like the Octavia RS it looks mean . Yeah I hate renault stupid french trash. I'd say the biggest rival is the Honda Civic Type -R Although I have seen the new HGT thrash a Civic Type-r and all it had was a PiperCross Viper and a "Proper" Sports exhaust not one of them nancy boy Big bores.
u know what, i think i'm just gonna get a Supra. I was watching FaF last night and realised u can pick these cars up now for 4-6k good con and just suffer the insurance
