Hey All,

I want to remove the rear rubbing strip that runs horizontally across the bumper as I want to get it sprayed (my local bodyshop won't spray it on the car), and I was wondering how I would go about doing this? Also, once I have got it off what do I use to stick it back on?

Come on guys, one of you must know the answer to this. I need to know by Saturday as I hope to pick up my new spoiler then and it would be great to give the body stylist something else to spray

could you put a pic up to show me wot its like? im confused, cos the horizontal line across my bumper is part of my bumper

its a seperate piece of plastic on mine, just like the other rubbing strips. I can't get any pics at the moment cos I am at work :-S

push the end of it then pop it out

surely you haven't even tried to remove it if you haven't spotted that ??

otherwise its bumper off time if you wanna go thru the rigmerole of pushing it out from the back

I haven't tried it, just wanted to make sure its possible first. So its clipped in? No glue?
