does anyone know how i can get this to open as it has seized, am soking the whole thing in brake fluid tonight to try and loosen it off, what methods do ppl on here usually use.

Use a little heat works wonders for freeing seized bolts, bleed nipples etc however not too much or you'll melt the seals!

soak it in pentrating oil (not WD40!)
not this one again wd40 is a penertrating oil
it was developed as a Water Displacement product, but it is also very good used as a penertrating oil.

What does WD-40 do?
WD-40 fulfills five basic functions:

CLEANS: WD-40 gets under dirt, grime and grease to clean. It also dissolves adhesives, allowing easy removal of labels, tape and excess bonding material.
DISPLACES MOISTURE: Because WD-40 displaces moisture, it quickly dries out electrical systems to eliminate moisture-induced short circuits.
PENETRATES: WD-40 loosens rust-to-metal bonds and frees stuck, frozen or rusted metal parts.
LUBRICATES: WD-40's lubricating ingredients are widely dispersed and tenaciously held to all moving parts.
PROTECTS: WD-40 protects metal surfaces with corrosion-resistant ingredients to shield against moisture and other corrosive elements.

i've not heard that argument before.

As it says tho, it was developed as a water displacement but can do other things to. but if you buy pentrating oil, it was developed to do just that.
