Hi all,
Got up today & tried to start the car but it doesn't want to get going properly, it ticks over but not much happens after that. I've had issues with it before over a year ago not starting reliably, had a garage replace the battery and the spark plugs. Battery should be pretty well charged I've been on some long journeys recently.
Reading around it seems people think it could be a fuel cut off switch? I've read some other topics telling me its on the passenger wheel arch side under the dash but I can't seem to find it, can someone give me some more detailed instructions or does anyone have a photo? The only thing I can find that looks vaguely like a switch is above the passenger wheel arch, its sort of a black connector with a yellow plastic catch on it?
Thanks

It starts so it cant be the fuel switch. Look at throttle cable or stepper motor if its drive by wire.

Sorry you've lost me, the engine is ticking over but it won't start properly. I thought that suggested the engine wasn't getting any fuel?

By ticking over do you mean it runs (as in the engine is working) or its just turning over but not firing (as in you turn the key, it sounds like its gonna start but it just wont)?

Sorry, in that case I mean turning over!
Thanks
