Hi guys,

I have a Fiat Punto 2008 model in Australia. Its the 5door hatch, manual.

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

The airconditioning has been working fine up until now, but all of a sudden only the maximum setting will blow out air. so i cannot use the smaller setting for less airconditioning (only the last one on the dial works).

what could this be?

"heater" fan motor resistor may have failed. Some searches will give more details.

i actually tried many different searches for air conditioning problems but i was not successful in finding a decent result but i gave up and decided to post a thread as i could not find anything

We Brits are so parochial :/ we'd have been moaning about heater fan problems.

It says the resistor is under left hand side (passenger in UK). Someone who knows better will soon be along.
