hey all happy xmas..
ok so if i sit in car with it just ticking over the heaters dont get warm, but when im driving they are fine, it dont overheat, temp gauge goes up till around half way when ticking over till i tap the accelerator then it drops quite a bit (just under 1/4) no mayo or oil in water, not loosing any coolant,
would this just be an airlock???

bleed first, to see if you can get any trapped air out, then check thermostat.. if thermostat is stuck open it will cause the engine to take a long time to heat up.
