hi all,

im needing a new set of headlights as my adjustor is broken and unrepairable and the other headlight the indicator lense is tinted too dark so uil just buy a new set and strip them again and add angel eyes

anyway what im wanting to know is i dnt have fogs in my headlights but if i buy headlights with fogs could i wire them myself to a universal switch so i can still use them? or is this not possible if it is then how is it done?

im guessing H7 bulb is brighter than H1 just guessing because well its biigger this true?

i'd say that u many just need to pull it in and it will work pal, cos ive just put that sporting centre console in and thats got a front fog button in it and when u push it in light comes on dash but i havn't got front fogs so they dnt come on lol. i guess that is just plug and play when u got a fog button

yh i thought it would be plug and play aswel i cant see them making seperate looms for fog models

and if the light comes on dash then it sounds most promising....i will buy the fog headlights and then a fog switch panel and see if they work

i remember many saying that it wouldnt before and somebody tryed and said it didnt work but they also said that they didnt get the light on the dash so maybe it will work.

there is different looms,

you need the switch panel, a engine fusebox out of a car with fogs and to alter the wiring

im looking to find out where the wiring is different for mine at some point soon i might make a guide for it

im stil going to have a go tho tbh im buying the headlights no matter what...then il buy a switch panel and see if it works...if not i know i can wire it up myself on a seperate switch by giving it a live so either way they will work lol

yeah i dont think there will be much to do the light comes on just no fog lights

i think there is wire missing from the connectors on the body computer to the engine fusebox but i will look

dont want to spedn so much and that they are cheap replicas that wont function or fit properly

it may be cheaper just to buy the wiring looms you get for fogs in places like halfords

just do what i did, go scrappy find a set of headlights with fog lights in and wire them up

im wanting brand new headlights because i bought a set from scrappers before and they got loads of condensation

i can get black angel eye (without fog) for £105 and standard for headlights (with fog) for £90...both are brand new and i am not sure what to go for??

i dont know wether i should buy brand new headlights then cut them open and spray them black and add my own xenon blue angel rings or just buy the ready made ones but it wont have fogs and will have white angel rings

saves me cutting them open and making more angel rings and spraying everything but not sure as i wanted the xenon blue angel rings lol

has anybody got a pic of there mk2 angel headlights with angel rings on?? and is there any way to change the colour of the angel rings??
