does anybody know how to get the little engine light to switch off on my dash.i gotta 2001 punto sporting and found out previous owner put ht leads on all wrong,put them on right it now goes like ****!,but the poxy silly light is on.:bang:
any help would be gratefully recieved...........toodle pip for now

it will go off after 3 drive cycles if it dont detect another fault

best get the codes read to see if there any other bugs in the works. i cant shift my light either, says fault with lambda sensor.... new sensor fitted, wipe the codes... 2 days later eml back on, says fault with lambda. :bang:

did you fit new oem one and check connector was clean?

no, the garage did. lol. they then said it could be a fuse or relay?!?! i dont know what im looking for/at. lol. picked up a fair bit of knowledge from here but im still just a useless noob. lol
