Technical radio -'wait' message-help!!!

Sorry, without the serial number, I can't get the code for you.

This must be the first Blaupunkt radio ever, not to have one.
.

Does this help?

Hello!

My friend has a stock Punto CD Head Unit. He got the code when bought it, but it didn't accept it. Then he generated a code from the serial number, got the same code, but still the head unit does not accept the code. How is this possible? What to do to unlock in this case?

Hi
my Fiat Blaupunkt displays "wait" but radio unit switches off after 20mins, even with ignition turned on, then I hit the on button to turn it back on & the "wait" display shows again, presumably restarting the wait clock back to zero
you say on forum to connect 2 power suply
how can i do that ? can you help me please?

Hello. What type you have? Your radio seems missing the switched +12V line. That's usually a yellow cable. It depends on your type of radio to where to put it. you must look for the pinout of your radio, which should be on a sticker on top of it. The switched +12V looks pretty much this: _/_ + or similar.
If there is a cable on the noted pin, then you need a multimeter to check if there is +12V when ignition is on.

The Head unit doesn't accept the code on the code card, only displays WAIT.. message after entering it.

2463 is the correct code for the serial number you posted.

You need to clear the "WAIT" message before entering the code by leaving the radio and ignition switched on continuously for up to 24 hours until the display shows " CODE ", then " - - - - ", then enter the code. If you have already done this, and the code is still not accepted, then it's likely that the code has been changed at a radio workshop.

Thank You, but this has already been done.
What can my friend do with this radio? Is there any chance to make it work?
