If you got the same colour paint yes, order from any local motors, so long as it's not been discontinued. Alot of the paints been discontinued but think they all the metallic ones.

Red is the bitchiest colour though if it's faded at all! May want to restore the colour on the rest of your car

I would definitely go for red. Get the right paint, spray the eyelids and see how the colour matches up... if the paint on the car looks faded compared to the eyelids a good wax should restore it a bit (y)

No offence mate but "eyelids" look awful. Do it properly and extend the bonnet.

if you extend the bonnet you would also have to extend the little lip from the wing that covers the lightt

My car has improvised brows with black insulation tape (thanks to someone with a cheap and cheerful idea) so heres an example of what it would look like:

That actually looks better! :D

...and yeah obviously you'd have to extend the wing to match...that's why it's called doing it properly ;)

TBH mate, the first thing you should be doing is colour coding the bumpers and sticking some decent or std alloys on before you even think about anything else.

would i have to tell my insurance about ccing bumpers? if so that is a no no i can't afford to pay anymore for insurance, and anyway i kinda like my bumpers :)

Nah, CC bumpers aren't something you'd have to declare - unless you had a full respray a different colour. Even if you had a full body kit, as long as you tell them you don't want it covered ur policy shouldn't increase. On a serious note, your dad is right, don't try to con the insurance man. You may think you can get away with it but if some bint t-bones you at a junction one day, when they come to look at your car, they WILL go over it with a fine tooth comb and void your policy if you've been less than honest!

we've all been there mate. best thing to do is get urself on other people's policies as a named driver as well - as long as you can earn NCB on them. you could earn a few years NCB in one then :)

TBH, I'd prolly try doing the bumper myself with a few cans of mixed paint or find some red bumpers from ebay or a scrappie.
