Just noticed this morning that the nearside front headlight is out on the GF's Punto. Is sorting this just a case of getting a bulb and replacing the blown one? I've done a sidelight on the car in the past and this was quite straight forward.

Yep. Might need to unscrew the whole headlamp to get sufficiant clearance to change the Bulb. They're H7s BTW.

I changed mine OK but it was a bit of a fiddle - had to take off the fuse box cover and do a bit of reorganising. And yes, the guy in the parts shop got the bulb wrong to start with as they're not what the manual says!

yep i agre with ems. i had to do the fuse box thing. and also check the futting of your bulb befor eyou buy one, the fitting can vary i have a 2001 and mine took a diferent fitting to other 2001 owners onhere. and mine did not match teh manual
